Funerals

FuneralsA funeral service is used to mark the end of a person’s life here on earth. Family and friends come together to express grief, give thanks for a life lived, and commend the person into God’s keeping. These can be a small, quiet ceremony or a large occasion in a packed church.

A funeral can take place in any of our churches, followed immediately by a burial, or cremation elsewhere, or it can take place entirely at a crematorium. If you wish you can arrange to have a private funeral at a crematorium and a memorial or thanksgiving service in church later.

It is always distressing to lose someone close to you. The church communities can help and support you through what is bound to be a difficult time. If you would like our support please give me a call (01427 753004)
