Funerals

A funeral service is used to mark the end of a person’s life here on earth. Family and friends come together to express grief, give thanks for a life lived, and commend the person into God’s keeping. These can be a small, quiet ceremony or a large occasion in a packed church.

A funeral can take place in any of our churches, followed immediately by a burial, or cremation elsewhere, or it can take place entirely at a crematorium. If you wish you can arrange to have a private funeral at a crematorium and a memorial or thanksgiving service in church later.
